
Frankfurter hash with a Topping of Cheddar Cheese.
Ingredients
4 cups finely diced cold boiled potato
1medium onion, diced
3 Tbsps. flour
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 lb. Frankfurters, thinly sliced
3 Tbsps. margarine
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Method:
Combine potato and onion. Sprinkle with flour and season. Add milk and franks put in shallow baking dish or pie pan. Dot with butter. Bake in hot oven, 425 F., 30 minutes. Top with cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted. Serves 4
